Volunteer Information

Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Jennifer Ashleigh Children’s Charity. Volunteering is a great opportunity to share your talents & experience, while lending a hand for a worthy cause. Whether you can give a few hours a month from time to time or a few days each year, your help is always appreciated!

JACC has various volunteer positions, projects and events available throughout the year. Please see our list below for some current volunteer opportunities and upcoming Events:

  • Event/Fundraiser Planning & Assistance
  • Office Assistance
  • On-site Special Event volunteers (various duties)
  • Public Speaking & Promotion
  • Special Projects/Opportunities (tasks/phone/mail or computer projects that can be done in office or from home)

 

Upcoming Special Events:


Annual Auction & Dinner
:

Held every spring at the Hilton Suites Toronto/Markham

* various volunteer positions and times available, including registration, silent table attendants, guest table attendants, set-up/breakdown assistance, décor assistance, etc.

JACC Golf Tournament:

Held every July at a ClubLink GTA location

* various volunteer positions available, including hole-in-one spotters, silent auction set up, raffle tickets/booth, etc.

JACC Annual Country BBQ:

Prince Lee Acres, Uxbridge

* more than 200+ volunteers required; various positions, including games area supervisors/helpers, fishing area assistance, trolley attendants, front gate registration, volunteer registration, kitchen/BBQ assistants, Cotton Candy/Popcorn & Snow Cone/Slushy booth volunteers, parking/traffic directors, Teddy bear clinic assistants, and much more – various shifts throughout the day are available.
